King County Prosecutors on Wednesday charged Madison Neilsen, a 19-year-old man from North Bend, with second degree burglary.
A grey 1993 Ford Escape was stolen sometime overnight on May 8 in the 40 block of Newport Way S.W. The loss was estimated at $500.

A 19-year-old Kirkland man was arrested on the evening of May 2 in the 23100 block of Northeast Eighth Street on suspicion of reckless driving, consumption of alcohol by a minor and driving while intoxicated, a report said. The officer wrote that he was waiting at a stoplight one car behind the suspect, and when the light turned green, the vehicle sped away.

A 1996 Honda Accord was stolen from the Costco at 1605 N.W. Sammamish Road sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 12:14 p.m. on April 29. The loss was estimated at $5,000. The car was later recovered, a police report said.
